About…

Peter McLaughlin is an accomplished fashion designer who worked in Milan launching brands for luxury labels Versace, Iceberg, and Krizia, and in Amsterdam for Tommy Hilfiger mainline. Currently based in NYC, Peter has witnessed first-hand the precarious acceleration into fast fashion over his career as collections went from being designed twice a year to per season, then monthly, and now weekly.

In 2020, he was accepted into the Harvard Extension School graduate program and achieved two certificates (Corporate Sustainability & Innovation and Environmental Policy & International Development) within a year. He graduated in May 2022 with his ALM Master’s degree in Sustainability and with honors as a Dean’s List of Academic Achievement scholar.

Today, Peter is focused on giving back, consulting for various companies big and small. His experience being a project manager, partnering with all stakeholders within a company; from sourcing, production, and operations, to buyers, merchandisers, and marketing as well as presenting to the C-suite and executives, gives him a unique advantage as he uses his skills, knowledge, and expertise to help brands make better decisions to reduce their impact while maintaining their profit margin and vision.
